As part of his MBA program, Prof. George Nassis is seeking to understand the facilitators and barriers in the university-industry collaborations (UIC) in the sports science and sports medicine domain.
This is, of course, a topic close to the STRN mission and, therefore, we’re happy to support Prof. Nassis in relevant data collection, as the results of this study will help all of us to improve our approaches and develop innovative solutions that will make an impact in everyday life.
Given that UIC is influenced by various stakeholders, we would like to hear from as many as possible (researchers, faculty staff, company owners, employees, and the end-users of services or products among others).
Two surveys are set up which should only take a few minutes (1-5 minutes) to fill out. The surveys are anonymous and are conducted for academic purposes.
- If you are a researcher, faculty, or industry-related professional you can take this survey.
- If you are an end-user of sports science & medicine products/services you can take this one.
Kindly note that one person may belong to both categories. In that case, people are welcome to take both surveys (which will be open until 20th December 2021).
Prof. Nassis will share the results once available in mid-February. Whether or not this will result in an academic publication will depend on the number of responses and the quality of the data.
Thanks in advance to those considering to participate and feel free to share this within your respective networks!
